Terms governing access to the Electricity Health Check website and services.
Website Terms of UseLast updated: 19 July 2026 1. About these Terms These Terms govern your access to and use of the Electricity Health Check (EHC) website, online forms and related services. By using the website, submitting an enquiry or uploading a document, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services. 2. About Electricity Health Check EHC provides independent electricity information, bill reviews, energy assessments, general guidance and, where appropriate, referrals to third-party installers or service providers across Australia. Unless expressly stated, EHC is not an electricity retailer, network provider, government agency, financier, installer, electrician or engineering provider. 3. General information only Website content and any initial information supplied by EHC are general in nature. They are not legal, financial, tax, engineering or electrical advice. You should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions or entering into a contract. 4. Accuracy and no guarantee We take reasonable care to provide useful information, but we do not guarantee that all website content is complete, current, error-free or suitable for your circumstances. Any estimates of costs, savings, payback periods or benefits are indicative only. EHC does not guarantee savings, finance approval, eligibility for incentives, product availability, installation outcomes or the performance of a third-party provider. 5. Government programs and incentives Information about government or private programs, incentives, rebates or finance may change without notice. Eligibility, funding, rules, deadlines and availability are determined by the relevant program provider or authority. EHC is not a government agency and is not affiliated with or endorsed by a government body unless this is expressly stated. You should confirm current information with the official program administrator before acting. 6. Enquiries, forms and uploaded documents When you submit an enquiry, complete a Jotform or Meta Lead Ad form, or upload an electricity bill or other document, you confirm that: • the information is accurate and current; • you are authorised to provide it; • the document does not contain unlawful or malicious material; and • you have removed or concealed personal information that EHC does not reasonably need. We may use the information to assess your enquiry, contact you, prepare a review or recommendation, and arrange a referral in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 7. Quotes, reviews and recommendations Any review, comparison, recommendation, proposal or indicative quote may depend on the accuracy of the information supplied and may require further verification. The final written quote and contract issued by the relevant provider will govern the products or services supplied. 8. Third-party installers and service providers Where appropriate, and with your consent where required, EHC may refer you to an installer, electrician, retailer, broker, finance provider or other service provider. These providers are independent third parties. EHC does not control their work, pricing, availability, licences, warranties or contractual obligations. You should review the provider’s credentials, insurance, quote, contract and warranty before proceeding. 9. Third-party websites and platforms The website may link to third-party websites or use platforms such as Jotform, Meta, Facebook or Instagram. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. EHC is not responsible for their availability, security, content or practices. 10. Privacy and cookies Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The website may use cookies, analytics and similar technologies to operate and improve the website and understand website activity. 11. Intellectual property Unless otherwise stated, the website content, branding, text, graphics and materials are owned by or licensed to EHC. You may view or print content for personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, sell or commercially use it without prior written permission, except where permitted by law. 12. Website availability and security We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or harmful components. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device and data security. 14. Australian Consumer Law and liability Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EHC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website; inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you; unavailable or changed third-party programs; or the acts or omissions of an independent third-party provider. Any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law. 15. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms when our website, services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with its latest revision date. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms. 16.
